Witches will congregate at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs

When?

OCTOBER 20, 2024

3:00 PM

Why?

Our goal is to have fun, raise money for 2 great causes, and bring joy to the witches and little monsters in our community!

Let’s Ride, Witches!

Check out our route for 2024!

As we continue to grow, it is important to us to include as many witches, ghosts, and goblins as we can…  So we are heading North!  We will pass all 3 D101 elementary schools, which would be a great place to watch the ride for anyone not directly on the route! With the support of the Western Springs Police Department, we are expecting a safe and wickedly fun event!

Witches unite to raise awareness and money for Little Heroes League and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana because we want to support brave kids and families in need!

Join us for a bike parade through town, followed by our Witching Hour cocktail party at Salerno’s of Western Springs.

**NEW THIS YEAR: The witches will be heading north of the tracks to share our spectacle and candy with the little monsters in Old Town and Field Park, in addition to Forest Hills!

PLEASE TELL US YOU’RE COMING AND SIGN UP TODAY!!

Can’t Ride With Us?

There are so many ways to get involved!

  • Join us for the Witching Hour after party at Salerno’s
  • Volunteer to help during the ride by contacting us at [email protected]
  • Simply donate to 2 great causes and join us next year

Hello, My Pretties!

It’s time to dust off your hats & broomcycles and ride through the streets, haunting young goblins, while spreading black magic and candy along the parade route. Dress in your fright-night finest and invite family and friends to watch the amazing spectacle as the witches descend on Western Springs, and raise money for Little Heroes League and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and NW Indiana!

All the Details

Thank you so much for your support of the event and our charity partners! We are so thrilled to have such amazing friends and neighbors. We are so proud that over the last 3 years we have raised over $36,000 at this event.  In 2024, we have set our goal to raise another $20,000, and can’t wait to see how far we go! Please help circulate this information with friends and neighbors so this can be our best event yet! We can’t wait to see you there! Let’s ride, witches!

Thanks again,

Jillian, Suzanne and Casey

Candy and Costumes

  • Please bring your own candy to throw along the route.
  • To ensure we have candy all the way through the ride, please distribute candy along the streets in your own hood, or wherever your favorite goblins are stationed.
  • When not throwing candy, please move toward the middle of the coven.
  • The refill station will be located halfway through the ride after we cross the tracks in the Western Springs Service Club parking lot.

Witching Hour

  • Don’t forget about the cocktail hour at Salerno’s immediately following the ride!
  • Every witch will get a free drink upon arrival. Cash bar once supplies run out.
  • We will have some great additions to this year’s party, so come and join the fun!
  • Make sure to stop by our favorite Tarot Card Reader’s table to have her answer 2 of your burning questions.
  • Capture your fright-night fashion by posing for a pic on our Black Carpet!

Safety

  • It is only a successful event if everyone is safe! Ride at your own risk.
  • There will be a WSPD officer helping us cross major streets.
  • Streets will NOT be closed to cars as we ride, so please be cautious.
  • Ride is expected to take 40-50 minutes and passes ~1,000 homes.
  • Make sure to secure your hats! The wind WILL catch them!

Thank You

A very special thanks to our partner Salerno’s of Western Springs
